Pulau Tenggol is one of the destinations that I never thought would captivate my heart so deeply. Located on the east coast of Terengganu, this small island offers tranquility and natural beauty that is difficult to describe in words.

A hidden gem on the east coast, is the perfect destination for travelers seeking natural beauty and tranquility. Known for its crystal clear sea water and attractive coral reefs, the island offers an incredible snorkeling and diving experience with more than 20 dive sites rich in marine life.

I am a water lover, so the first activity I tried in Tenggol Island was snorkeling. The sea water here is very clear, as if I was swimming in a giant aquarium filled with colorful coral reefs and fish swimming freely around me. I was lucky enough to see turtles and also a variety of unique fish species. If you like snorkeling, Pulau Tenggol is a place not to be missed.
Besides, I also tried scuba diving for the first time here. With over 20 dive sites, I was given the opportunity to see for myself the underwater beauty that I had only seen in documentaries. This experience really opened my eyes to how rich Malaysia's marine biodiversity is. I had the chance to see a species of clownfish swimming around the reef.

After the water activities, I took the time to walk around the island and enjoy the relaxing scenery. Pulau Tenggol is not an island crowded with tourists, so I was able to really enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty without distraction. One of the moments I enjoy the most is watching the sunset while sitting on the white sandy beach. The color of the sky changing from blue to orange, accompanied by the gentle sound of the waves, is an experience I will remember forever.

Pulau Tenggol is not a big island, so accommodation options are quite limited. But, that's what makes the experience here more special. You can stay at one of the two main resorts on the island, either The One Tenggol Island Resort or Tenggol Coral Beach Resort. Both offer packages that include accommodation, food, and activities such as snorkeling and diving. This means you can really relax without worrying about anything else.

To get to Pulau Tenggol, I took a speedboat from pier in Kuala Dungun. The trip took about 45 minutes, and along the way I was treated to a stunning view of the sea. Although this trip was short, it was enough to give me a sense of excitement before reaching this beautiful island.

Pulau Tenggol vacation gave me a very meaningful experience with a combination of natural beauty, tranquility, and a little challenge in water activities. I went home with a satisfied heart and wonderful memories.
