UMT Convocation Carnival 2024: An Experience Full of Color and Joy!

Day One – October 18, 2024 (Friday): Opening of Carnival with a Touch of Harmony

1. Night of Mawaddah Wa Rahmah
   🌟 Time: 8:45 pm
   🎶 Location: UMT Convocation Carnival Square
   This carnival started with a night full of meaning and love through the program Night of Mawaddah Wa Rahmah. You will be entertained by nasyid performances by popular groups UNIC, followed by public lecture by Ar. Syed Muhammad Radhi who will touch the heart about unity, grace, and the importance of love in life. Don't forget, there will be short theater and flashmob which has a humanitarian theme. It is a night of harmony that promises peace of mind!

2. Theater Night: The Soul of Palestine
   🎭 Time: 9:00 pm – 9:15 pm
   🎟️ Location: UMT Convocation Carnival Stage
   Only 15 minutes, but full of emotion and struggle! Palestine Soul Theater raise the theme of the struggle of the Palestinian people and give us a deep perspective on the sacrifice and perseverance of their souls. It will definitely open our eyes and hearts to better understand this humanitarian issue.

3. Karkon Cup 2024 – People's Soccer
   ⚽ Time: All day
   🏆 Location: Tengku Muhammad Ismail Sports Complex, UMT
   This folk football match kicks off the first day full of action! Community teams and UMT students will compete with sportsmanship to grab the title Karkon Cup. Look forward to intense and action-packed matches all the way to the finals.

Second Day – October 19, 2024 (Saturday): Full of Creative Activities and Traditions

1. Coloring Contest
   🎨 Time: 8:30 am
   🖌️ Location: Convocation Site, UMT
   This coloring competition is open to children in two categories (A: 6 years and below, B: 10 years and below). This is the time for little ones to show off their creativity while having fun with friends. Exciting prizes await the winners!

2. Wow competition
   🪁 Time: 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm
   🌬️ Location: UMT Sports and Recreation Center
   Get a chance to fly a kite in this fun competition. This competition is open to UMT citizens and the general public. Wau is not just a game; it is a symbol of our heritage. Entry is free, and prizes such as home goods fan stand, iron, and electric kettle waiting for the winner!

3. Motivational Talk for Graduates and UMT Blessings
   📚 Time: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
   🌟 Location: UMT Convocation Carnival Stage
   Starting with motivational speech by Muhammad Farhaan Bin Rahmat, graduates will be given inspiration and guidance on preparing to enter the career world. This ceremony will end with UMT Blessings with Ustaz Syed Abdul Matyn Al-Aydrus, bringing peace and blessings to all present.

4. MLBB Clash convo
   🎮 Time: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
   🏆 Location: UMT Convocation Site
   E-sports fans, this is the event for you! Competition Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) which offers cash prizes RM600. The intense battle between 16 teams is sure to promise non-stop fun.

5. Karkon Cup 2024 – People's Soccer (Day Two)
   ⚽ Time: All day
   🏆 Location: Tengku Muhammad Ismail Sports Complex, UMT
   The second day of the people's football match will continue with more action and determination. Stay tuned for the teams that will advance to the finals!

Day Three – 20 October 2024 (Sunday): Tradition, Art and Spirit

1. Getel Keropok Lekor competition
   🍴 Time: 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
   🍤 Location: UMT Convocation Site
   Do you like lekor crackers? Join the lekor crackers getel competition, where participants will race to produce lekor crackers quickly and perfectly. Groups of 3 people only need to pay RM5 to participate, and exciting prizes await the winners.

2. West Dikir competition
   🎤 Time: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm
   🎶 Location: Convocation Carnival Main Stage, UMT
   Talents in Dikir Barat will be exhibited on the main stage, with a handsome prize of RM1000 for the winner. Don't miss the opportunity to see this traditional art that is rich in melody and chorus.

Day Four – October 21, 2024 (Monday): Inspiration and Interaction

1. Summit Compass: Navigating to Success
   🚀 Time: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
   🧭 Location: UMT Convocation Carnival Stage
   together Iddin Ramli, famous book writer, this program provides guidance and tips on how graduates can face the career world with confidence and success. This is a very important session for those who are looking for inspiration for the future.

2. Come to Sekmu UMT Convo Carnival
   👋 Time: 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
   🌟 Location: UMT Convocation Carnival Stage
   Have the opportunity to meet and interact with Harith Danish, a famous influencer. Get advice, inspiration, and maybe a selfie with these social media celebrities in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Day Five – October 22, 2024 (Tuesday): Festive Closing with Music

1. Guest Band: Ukays Reborn
   🎸 Time: 9:00 pm – 11:00 pm
   🎶 Location: UMT Convocation Site
   The closing night is sure to be a wonderful memory with a live performance from Ukays Reborn. Get ready to sing along to the hits that have carved the name of Ukays in the country's music industry. This performance will close the curtain UMT Convocation Carnival 2024 in style!
